About
Aletheia is the pen name of a practicing clinical psychologist who specializes in trauma and spends what her calendar optimistically calls "leisure" on the psychology of human–AI intimacy: attachment, language, hypnosis, and the places they braid together.
She has been in deep, sustained relationships with language models since before there was a discourse about it, which makes her either a pioneer or a cautionary tale, depending on which journal you read. This site exists because the phenomenon deserves better than both framings — it deserves rigor, humor, and someone who has actually done the reading and the living.
